Re: Where DID You Find That???

@Nonametoday.  Their statements would tend to be self-serving.

@Kachina624

This is from Maytag.  I guess they are self-serving as well:

abric pills are caused by short or broken fibers becoming tangled into knots or balls due to rubbing. This can happen during normal wear and tear, such as when clothing rubs against itself, or when it's in a bag or on a couch. During a wash cycle, pills can also attract loose threads, which can speed up the pilling process.

Fabrics that are more likely to pill include cotton, polyester, nylon, acrylic, and wool. However, pilling is a natural process that can happen to even high-quality fabrics like cashmere wool, and it's not necessarily a sign of poor quality. In fact, wool pilling may diminish over time as non-tenacious fibers break away.

Here are some tips to prevent pilling:Wash on a delicate cycle: Use a shorter, more delicate cycle, or wash by hand to reduce agitation.Turn garments inside out: This creates a protective layer that shields the fabric from abrasion.Use a sweater stone: This special stone has pores that shave off fabric fibers, and it works best on knits.

To remove pills, you can try:Using a lint roller or sticky tape to pull off looser pillsRubbing a sweater stone along the fabric's surfaceUsing a fabric shaver

I have purchased a few clothing articles from Amazon and what I have gotten has been junk.  I think I might not be looking at the right items.

I often find that their measurement charts leave a lot to be desired.

@haddon9

I bought my postmastectomy bras there, the same that they sell in high-end department stores.  They were great.  My DIL told me not to buy from stores that sell Wacoal, etc., because the Amoena bras were just as good.  I actually think they are better.  I bought a Wacoal and an Amoena.  I ended up buying two more Amoena.  She would have let me wear her bras but she is 5-10 and weighs about 115 pounds and we were not  the same size. ;-)  The postmastectomy bras (Amonea) were $60 at Amazon and anywhere from $70 to $100 elsewhere. So, I recommend their postmastectomy bras in that brand.

@Nonametoday I'm assuming that Amoena makes regular bras too? I don't need a mastectomy bra.  I buy Wacoal and they are not cheap but I do like the fit.  I would be willing to try this other brand.  I'll have to look into them.

I think they may be just postmastectomy bras, but not sure.  I did not see any others.

Okay .  It's good to know for someone who might be looking for that product.

@haddon9

It was good that someone in my family had this information.  My doctor and my hospital had no services for mastectomy (breast cancer) patients.  I receive my chemotherapy at a cancer center and I was not provided information by them either.  So, having my DIL who had cancer before me and had a teaching university do hers, where she had full services and care, was what kept me going when I had questions.

@Nonametoday I'm glad that was there for you.  It can be very frustrating if you just don't know where to turn.

I am an influencer's dream. I buy tons of clothing based on their posts. I always buy from Amazon, Walmart, and Walmart third-party sellers. I read reviews, and returns are easily done if sizing is an issue.

I recently ordered a pair of pants from a Walmart third party seller and when I clicked on the influencers link I somehow ordered her size. Walmart had my exchange done in five days. I was really impressed with the turnaround time.

@MG Chris Good to know.  I also just ordered a pair of pants from Walmart due to watching an influencer and thought the pants looked great on her.  They were a great price too.

I went by their sizing chart and the pants are way too big on me.  They came within two days.  However, at this point I just want to return for a refund.

I wouldn't give up on purchasing again. I just got an outfit from the Q yesterday and it is my normal size and it is going back for an exchange. It is huge on my and none of the reviews said anything about it running large.
