I learned a long time ago to get the matching shell so that the neckline works perfectly with the cardigan.

I have been buying (WAY TOO MANY) of the Charming Cardigans and matching shells at Talbots.

Usually something else or a fitted tank. I have 2 twinsets with matching tanks, but the majority of the time I wear my cardigans over something else.

..also, sometimes a graphic tee depending on the cardigan and how casual I want to be!

I've been wearing the Genie camis with a solid colored cardigan. I feel very comfortable with this look.

Depends on the cardigan and the time of year. In summer, usually a tank top with a lightweight cardigan. In winter, I may layer the cardigan over a lighter weight turtleneck.

When warm, a fitted tank, when cooler a long sleeve tee or sometimes button up shirt.

I'm short, so I like to keep things simple. I have a number of flowy, longer tanks that I wear under cardigans. I don't mean tunic length, just enough to cover the top half of my rearus maximus.

I like a tank, a camisole or a matching tank. I have a sleeveless button down shirt that I wear with cardigans too. I don't like bulk.
