@BunSnoop I ordered sandals somewhat similar to yours from Disney.
I had heard that Crocs were always comfortable. And I wanted to have Mickey Crocs when we went to Walt Disney World.
The style is similar to these - I can not wear them more than 2 steps. My little toe slips out of the strap. And it feels like I am trying to rip my little toe off.
It is not the size. If I ordered a bigger size, there is no way it would stay on my foot. I was disappointed. It is not a comfortable sandal and will go into the donation pile.

I can't wear thongs or flip-flops at all because my right foot pronates so badly that my foot is soon mostly off the shoe.

I can only wear flip flops that have an edge coming up to protect the feet and toes. That keeps my feet secure and also prevents stubbed toes. I only wear Birkenstock Honolulu. They used to be called something else for years. They have them on HSN now. I think also Masseys. Other flip flops cause my heels to slide sideways.

I like to wear Dr Scholl's slides. They don't make them quite like they used to (but then what's new), but close enough.

@BunSnoop I also have the same problem with mine. I used to wear them all summer long without a problem and for some reason the last couple of seasons it has been getting more difficult. I know exactly what you mean when you say you have to keep pushing your foot forward in them, it's quite annoying. I don't why it became a problem when it wasn't before. What I do now is mostly wear my Birki's or a sandal with a strap in the back. I certainly don't want to risk falling because of my flip flops!

find that style with an ankle strap---all my flip flops stay on my feet just fine.

I don't wear flip flops but I do wear thong sandals. The ones pictured are not flip flops and not thong sandals so I am confused. These are banded or band sandals and I don't have any because I always fear that I'll have the experience you are having. I have a band sandal, I wore them today but they have a wide back strap.

I don't know why anyone would wear flip-flops except children playing in the water or men who shower in gyms where other feet may have spread fungus, i.e., spas, military showers or athletic gyms. How uncomfortable does anyone want to be and unattractive.
I don't get it anymore than I can understand why women would wear sneakers or trainers with a nice outfit or with any outfit. I wear them when I get a treadmill and that is every 2 years so they stay pristine because they are unused but for that. So uncomfortable and unattractive.
I am too poor to buy discomfort and ugly all in one purchase. I have done too much of that in my life.
