Fall is bearing down on us, and I love to wear white,but don't want to look like the "last breath of spring".

I'll scale down white after this week.

Labor Day is the end of my wearing a lot of white. However , I wear white button down long sleeve shirts year round.

I usually wait until September. I live in a warm climate. And a resort area. But I'm really not a stickler for the rules of fashion.

@ECBG Maybe it's because I spent my first 61 years in Southern California but I've never worn clothing by season or color. If it's cool I wear something warm and I have warm clothes in light colors. I've been in WA state for 11 years but still do the same.

@ECBG    It's August 10th!!!  Autumn is not bearing down on me.  I'll start giving it some thought about the middle of October.  Don't rush the season.

October?  I'll likely be in a coat by then!

Many Halloweens have had coats over children's costumes here.

I never really stopped wearing darker colors, that's what I prefer. I never , ever wear white bottoms and white tops wash me out. I've learned over these many years what works for my coloring and body type and it has nothing to do with rules, just personal preference.

Not at all.  I was referring to those of us whom wear a lot of white.
