Re: When I watch LOGO....

[ Edited ]

They really look cute on Amy although I don't think they look cute on Sharon and I don't think they look good on the models.   I have no idea why they look cute on Amy, maybe it's her; she'd probably look good in anything.

I feel like I am in an alternate universe. I get all hyped up because I love Amy and feel the enthusiasm bubbling.....and then I look at the clothes and think.... schmatta. Full stop. Tell me how the clothes work - I have an open mind. What am I missing? xxoo

I think schmatta is an apt description of LOGO. The fact that someone chooses to wear them is just that-their choice .

No accounting for taste. Maybe that's why this is a popular line, it's just not to my taste.

I absolutely adore logo but I would never wear the color combinations they do. I don't agree that anything goes with everything, at least not for me.. I prefer things that match and wish she would do more matching tanks and jackets that actually are the same color. And I love the lace hems peeking out under things. That is so me. I wish she would do more navy too as I do adore her clothes and that is my favorite color. My idea of layering is a jacket over a tank top.  All in all I love logo though and enjoy the shows very much.

@qvchope  I don't happen to wear much navy at all, but I do think she should do more (or at least a LOGO version of navy - most of her colors are offbeat from the tradition colors).   There are a lot of people who do love and wear navy so she should take that into consideration and do a color for those folks too.

@Pearlee

Lori has had "navy" in the past ... called "ink" or "eclipse."  I have a few in those colors.  Also - one of my tunics from Soft Surroundings is in navy.

@ALRATIBA  Hi there.  I actually have her "ink"/"eclipse" color in a couple of garments and you are right - it probably is her version of navy, but it's so dark that it is very close to black, which is not my idea of navy.  But yes I agree, that is probably her take on it, and thanks for reminding me of those long-ago colors!

Over and over I've tried to watch LOGO - sorry, just can't.  The line is way overpriced and I personally don't want to look like a bag lady wearing my entire closet that doesn't match. OK - maybe a top here and there is not so terrible, but I see no one wearing clothing like this and I live in a very upscale area, but to each their own.  I don't "get it" either @Beautybella88

@nycgrl  Why watch over and over trying so hard to "get it."  Don't watch it or get it  if it isn't your style.  Just move on and watch and buy what you do like. But no need to disparage the line - and insult those who do like it - by referencing it as "bag lady" .

Thanks a lot.   And who cares what others are wearing?  If you do and it matters that you don't see others wearing it, fine. But I "own my own style" and don't care what other people are wearing. I wear what I like and my clothes are a form of self-expression.   Frankly I prefer not to see everyone walking around in the same clothes that I wear and   therefore I look like everyone else.  I like to be unique.

So I hope you enjoy what you are wearing, whatever it is, which I will not disparage because you happen to like it.   I only ask from the you same in return.  I assure you I do not look like a "bag lady" in my LOGO clothes.   And I find your description of LOGO offensive.

I own a few of her tank tunics because they are very long (I'm very tall) with not adornment. They work perfect as a layering piece under long sweaters, shirts , etc.

Beyond that, her look isn't for me but I enjoy how happy everyone appears to be on her shows and God knows, we need more happiness in the world. : )
