I saw this dress earlier on a blog and fell in love with it.  I don't have the figure to pull it off and it's a bit young for me, but it's the dress of my fantasies.  It's by Giambattista Valli.  I would love it even more if it were black.

The dress needs to match the green of the Barbara Bixby pendant and the dress I'd chose would also have a halter neckline.

Some dresses look great in the mirror, but really don't do well on camera ....  prints, delicate designs, etc.   

Personally, I would go with turquoise or teal blue satin .... probably with a halter top, but I can't find the halter cut ....  but something along these lines:
