Re: What to Wear to an Interview???

[ Edited ]

I wore black pants and a black jacket.  I wore a coral/red ruffled type tank/cami (INC)  I got the job.

I wore black Anne Klein patent pumps about 2.5 inches.

Good luck!!! Smiley Happy

Re: What to Wear to an Interview???

I think many interviewers are more concerned about the interviewee's personality and the responses given to interview questions than they are about how the interviewee is dressed. People who come across as a bulldog or know-it-all are going to be disregarded no matter what outfit they had on.

I've served on so many job search committees! I think your choice sounds fine.

I always suggest a crisp white shirt with either a shirt and jacket or dress pants and jacket. Maybe pearls or a locket, and small earrings. No patterns. Black or navy is always professional.

Good Luck!

I think first impressions are very important. You don't have to be dressed to the nines, but look well put together and neat. It sounds like what you've chosen is an excellent choice.

Re: What to Wear to an Interview???

i do consulting, when we present at potential clients firms we wear a pantsuit or skirted suit but always fashion forward, in other words no square-toed shoes and shoulder pads.   carrying a briefcase is kind of odd. sorry

Re: What to Wear to an Interview???

I carry a briefcase type bag so I can have extra copies of my resume. It's actually a Harvey seatbelt briefcase.

My shoes were kitten heels with pointed toes.
