What kind of outfits will you be wearing to this years get-togethers?

Once upon a time we had parties we went to.  Now we have none.

So fill me in on your parties.

Like NY Eve....going out?

For New Years Eve .... pajamas watching Times Square on TV.

We never went out ... there was always a family house party w/some friends and neighbors ... that continued until family passed on and the rest of us moved away.

We all stay home now.

We will be hosting Christmas for our dd, dsil and 3 dgc along with my brother and his family.  I will be wearing a nice sweater and long pants.  Then we are going out for NYE so I will wear a sparkly sweater and long pants . It will be cold here in S. WI.  Then when we get back home after midnight,  I will put on my swimsuit and we will usher in the New Year with a 🍷🍷 cooler.  Ahhh.  Can't wait until it is 2019, this has been a rough year.

We really don’t do get-togethers. We both pretty much dislike parties. Thank goodness the days of office parties are pretty much history. We will be getting together with some friends tonight and we will both be wearing jeans and a sweat shirt. We don’t dress up for much. Arizona is real casual. We never go out on New Years. We just enjoy a quiet night with some wine and munchies. Usually we go to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant on New Years Day and that’s it for going out.

Only one get together for us this year. Christmas day at our house for my family. There will be 7 of us. I’m wearing leggings with a Christmas lights print and an April the giraffe “ugly” Christmas tee. I’ll terrify my niece and nephews, LOL.

Christmas with my husbands family is cancelled this year.....well with his extended family. My husbands family is very small and we have two seriously ill right now so that takes care of the family get together. We’ll have lunch somewhere with one of my stepsons, his wife and grandson one day and exchange gifts.

Absolutely nothing for New Years Eve, my least favorite day of the year. We’ll be asleep by 9:30.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I miss going out and dancing the night away, likely in an outfit like this one.

These New Year's Eves I'll probably be in bed, wtaching Time's Square, getting my midnight kiss from DH, and going to sleep.

Most years I'm at home on New Year's Eve. I LOVE IT. I always have a Top Ten list (meaningful occurrences in my life). I take out the old year and bring in the new by my favorite pastime: reading.
