When it is cold, I like ankle length. In other weather, any coat below the butt is fine.

Car coat length is the most flattering to me and best fits my lifestyle.

 

When I was working, I also liked having a knee length coat in my wardrobe.

 

My biggest problem with coat length is the arms - they're usually too long. Sometimes I have them shortened, but often I don't bother (though I should).
