Brown is my dominant color instead of black.  It's a much better color for me.   After that would be other autumn colors that go well with brown, such as burnt orange, olive, red and camel.

Definitely Pink and Red! I tend toward bright colors to go with my neutrals as lighter colors wash me out.

For Fall and Winter, mine is Browns, Rich tans and Taupes and Spice tones, That is what I wear more than Black.....For Spring and Summer, I like  a lot of color, so a lot of Blues, Pinks, yellows and oranges!!!!!

Hi Skylark,

I've been doing a serious closet inventory, and have about 1/4th various shades of blue, 1/4th shades of hot pink/berry/red (no fuschia lol), 1/4th black, and the rest mostly white and light gray.  I have 1 heathered brown top (other than that, I have zero earth-toned colors), 1 yellow top (destined for Goodwill since I haven't worn it in a year lol), 1 plum colored jacket, and a few patterned/printed items with splashes of all colors.  Virtually no green.

Mostly various shades of greys.  With some black mixed in.  Some, but not a lot of bright colors.

I hardly have any black in my closet - one pair of pants, one cardigan and one black/wheat patterned skirt (lol).  I don't think I even own one black pair of shoes (lol).

Whaaat?  No way!  What color pants/shoes do you own...I'm guessing denim (pants) or brown (pants and shoes)?  (If brown, I have an old pair of brown/cream saddle shoes you might could use...kidding!).
