👚What happens if I put rayon in the dryer?👚

[ Edited ]

If you have tried putting rayon items in the dryer...what happens?

Do they shrink?

Do they come out wrinkled?

Thank you for any help.

If you're talking about 100% rayon, it will shrink, unfinished edges will fray, color will fade.

Rayon and the dryer are not friends.

Rayon span doesn’t need it

but I have put stuff in for a Minute to let the wrinkles drop out then hang to dry is the best way to do it. But I wouldn’t recommend throwing around garment in the dryer to dry it you will be sorry

@LTT1  May I ask why you had to change your nick?  (I'm glad you did let us know so we could recognize you.)  Cat Happy

@2blonde

Thank you for asking!

I did not “have to” change... it was completely voluntary!

Been thinking about a change ever since I retired!

Here is another reason, we can call it reason #2:

Occasionally when I reply to a discussion about education, there may be posters who confide that in general, they do not care for teachers!  I do understand how this could be (teachers in my personal life, etc) So because I did not want to be stereotyped, I went with letters.

Reason #3: today’s life goes FAST. The fewer the letters, the more people will respond and remember you.  Typing out “lovestoteach” seems too long.

Reason #4: Someone (months ago) thought my nic meant that I thought I could teach adults on the forum here a thing or two! (That would make me a know-it-all).  Did not want people to perceive me that way.

❤️❤️❤️

@LTT1  Those are all good reasons, although I never thought much about your nic except that you had been a teacher and loved your job (I think that is what you really meant).

It's funny how some people will read more into something than was intended......it's the way of the world these days.  I wonder what people think about my nic.  I used to have it on my license plate back in the day when everybody had a vanity plate. (Yes, I am blonde, but hopefully not too dumb).  Cat LOL
