I prefer swim shirts (rash guard shirts) for there the SPF protection and as well as the modesty. though I am small breasted, I do feel like I need something underneath the shirt. Any suggestions? I have tried a bikini top and a sports type bra. but I wondered if anyone had any suggestions I did not think of. thank you!

I think most women wear a bikini under them, I think you have the right idea. I wouldn't think they would be comfortable with anything else but a bikini top. When I have seen women in them at the beach, they are wearing bikini bottoms and you can tell they have a bikini top underneath.

Here is a pic from Athleta, they sell rash guards. You can tell this woman has a bikini top underneath, to match her bottoms.

Thanks ladies! I just wanted to make sure. I'll stick to my bikini top. I seem to be the only woman at our community pool who likes them.

I bought a bikini top to wear under mine this year. I can't stand the bathing suit AND a rash guard...too many clothes when wet. I bought 3 more this year and have a total of 6. I love them and they are just what you need when you are not interested in sun. I found last year when I went to the beach that almost all children had them on and a lot of younger women and they looked darling instead of a swimsuit and letting it all hang out!
