@qualitygallol- You forgot to add jewelry! Today that's my nemesis. I'm sorting and trying to wean my collection as I ready myself to head south for the winter. Usually I don't look at everything I have - I just find something to wear from among the pieces I've worn recently, but because I'll be away for months, I want to make certain I take along what I might want.
I have way too many items. No wonder I quit buying jewelry. It's been two years and two weeks now since I bought a new piece, but who's counting,
BTW- it's clothes that take up the most space, but they don't frustrate me like the smaller pieces (jewelry, shoes, purses) do.

I do a yearly closet purge and this year I really used a heavy hand with it. No matter how much I liked something, if it is not being regularly worn for any reason - out it went. I still have more clothes than anything else as I do not buy many shoes or much MU. I had purged purses last year and got rid of many that were just no longer stylish, leaving me with a small core supply of ones that i really love.

1. Clothes
2. Jewelry
3. Shoes
4. Handbags
And too much of all of the above.
Makeup is the only thing I do in moderation. My skincare and makeup routine is simple and sensible.

I have one purse for summer and one purse for winter -- the same Baggallini purse in 2 different colors. So it's not purses.
I was laughing at myself yesterday. I have one entire drawer full of cotton turtlenecks, every color imaginable and several duplicate colors. When all of them are clean at the same time, not all of them fit in that drawer and 3 or 4 of them have to be stored elsewhere. I either need to find a second drawer to store them, or thin them out. Ya think?
(I have this same problem with short-sleeved t-shirts in the summer, but that's a whole other thread!)

Definately clothes! Then shoes, handbags last. I wear too much pattern to have a lot of color in bags.
