The story:
DD sent the pic of DGD in a chartreuse top and asked me if I thought DGD looked “bruised?” On her forehead.
See the pics in post further down.

She's a little doll; however I agree Chartreuse isn't her color. have your daughter change her top and resend the picture. She looks fairer skinned than your daughter. Thanks for sharing.

@OKPrincess
Thank you so much!
As a matter of fact, after I replied “yes” to DD’s question, she DID send a different picture of her in purple which I will post later...and much better!
Who looks good in chartreuse colors anyway?
And does anybody look fabulous in fluorescent lighting?

I think in the picture you posted, there are blue shadows on her forehead and down the bridge of her nose.
Does she look like that in person, or just in the picture? I don’t think the color of her t-shirt would cause that look.
She is such a cutie, even with love on her eyes. What color eyes does she have?

That color is just not good on a lot of people I think.
Perhaps pink? Pink looks good on just about anyone in one shade or another.
I love pink! Pink is good!
I see some rosiness in her cheeks, pink would compliment that nicely!

@LTT1I definitely see what looks bruising along the forehead in this picture. I would panic if I saw this on my GD.

She looks bruised ,but lighting can be tricky too, and cast shadows.. She is a darling child

That is such a harsh color especially on a little one. Colors can bring out all sorts of odd stuff. I sure would not look good.
Where I volunteer we use a purple paper for one of our forms. I was working with that paper when I suddenly noticed how yellow my hands looked. I looked jaundiced.
Freaked a bit so got up to ask someone if they could see it but stopped when I realized my normal color was back. It as that color.
Glad she's ok, grandma

I have noticed DGD looking “sallow” in person. Have never thought of it as bruising, but told DD that I do think so. Suggested that they have her checked.
DGD tends to get ear/sinus infections — and this needs to be re-checked again, IMO.
will post another pic of DGD in a purple sweatshirt where the skin tone looks nice and healthy.
I ran DD to the MD every other day LOL
I believe in ALWAYS taking them!
