Re: What clothing brand most closely exemplifies your style in all types of stores/sites

No clothing from QVC. I like Alfani, INC, Lucky Brand, Calvin Klein (especially jeans), Tahari, RL Denim & Supply.

Re: What clothing brand most closely exemplifies your style in all types of stores/sites

I am a combo of styles.  However, I seem to have a lot of XCVI jackets and tops, many Neon Buddha skirts and tops and jackets.  I buy a few tops and most skirts from Acacia and Soft Surroundings.  I scout the sales at Neimans daily, and find gorgeous items here and there!

The only clothing I have from QVC is several Logo tops.  I think most of their clothing can be a bit high for what you get, and I shop high end. The clothing , especially tops are often not worth it!  The quality is not there, but mostly the sizing is off.  I quit buying about 10 years ago.  I had quite a bit of QVC clothing, high quality, unique and timeless.  I would get a large in ANY brand they had.  All QVC's clothing used to be uniform, once you had your size, that was it.  Now it is so off base, it is not worth the time and expense to return.

I still have the Q's Jessica Hollbrook line, Newsorthy, Randolph Duke and many of their sweaters from the 1990's!!

When I was working, it was Ellen Tracy, anne Klein & Calvin Klein.  Now, that I no longer work, I dress casually and  I like a lot of JJill clothing, plain tees from Kohl's, Denim & Co. (some of their tees & tops & like the pull up straight leg pants) and I even like the pull up straight leg pants from Walmart & some tops from Target.  I now look for good sales.  Cat HappyCat Happy

I like casual, comfort and color.  I would have to say One World.

Talbots comes closest. But I shop around.

I'm the tailored preppy type with a bit of bohemian thrown in.

In the past, I didn't have a style so I copied looks that seemed appropriate for whatever I was doing. It was more of a "mind" thing. I thank Lisa Robertson for showing me how to love clothing. At 61, I dress from my heart and what I love changes. Lately, this has lead me to LOGO. I love Lori's beautiful colors. I wear her cardigans. I also love GILI leather jackets.

I love Ralph Lauren, unfortunately, it doesn't love me.

When I worked I favored Ann Taylor....now I am retired and wear a lot of Lucky Brand as my niece works for them, Chico, Jay Jill, Soft Surroundings, Garnet Hill, some Susan Graver and Isaac Mizrachi.

Re: What clothing brand most closely exemplifies your style in all types of stores/sites

I can't say that one brand of clothing is me since I like a lot of brands. I do own a lot of tops by Style & Co, One World, and Nygard. In jeans I own Anne Klein, Style & Co curvy fit, Mossimo, and DG2 (her older ones before her sizing became unreliable).

No one brand represents me because styles change and manufacturers seem to come and go. In Canada especially chain stores that sell women's clothing are becoming an endangered species as many of these brands are or seeking bankruptcy protection from the Canadian courts.
