My cool weather staple is an ankle length jogger. I love the sleeker fit of the ankle length and the lighter material vs. a traditional sweatpant. I feel they look youthful without being inappropriate. I prefer them over leggings for running errands.

One thing that I do check for now is that the ribbing at the cuff is substantial enough to keep its shape. I previously ordered several pairs of D&C joggers with zippers at the cuff and the material became so loose with wash/wear that the pant bottoms just flapped around and looked frumpy ridiculous. I ordered their ankle length jogger style that was new this spring in their Active collection and love everything about them. Added a few with the snaps at the cuff for fall and they fit perfectly too. Just have to wait for cooler weather to wear them.

I use the word "Sweats" all he time in the gym.  That's why I was asking.  Never hear the word joggers in the gym.  I would prob get smacked is I did.
