Eyelet, lace, grommets, studs, embroidery, elbow length sleeves, any type of "bling".

I don't want anything that I am going to have to fuss with - like tassels  Or things that will hang down my arms or legs and bother me - like ties.  Or things that will easily snag - like embroidery.  Or things that will fall off - like the glued on rhinestones.

I want my life to be simple and comfortable.  It is possible to be stylish without any of the above.

Not in favor of anything non-functioning, ties or buttons on pant hems, buttons that don't work, or laces that serve no purpose.

I once read that less expensive clothing often have a lot of embellishments in order to hide poor design. I don't like any extras on my clothing and like clean lines and simple designs...Theory clothing and Ralph Lauren are my go to's for my very small wardrobe.

I don't like cold shoulder blouses and dresses.  I also don't like nonfunctional buttons on clothes.

I forgot about my 1 big issue:   Any round/oval design or flower centered on the breasts of a top, especially like two big daisies.  I once had a favorite sweater that I wore until I looked into a big mirror and noticed a big emboirdered flower with a pink bead centered on each breast.  Threw it out when I got home (was a Liz Claiborne).

High necklines of any kind....crew, turtle, mandarin collars...I also don't like "jewels" on my clothing.

Eta". I also don't like ruffles, loud prints or prints that clash.

QVC designers should review our comments....Susan G thinks cut-outs are just loved by all.....Q Factory thinks we love all their baby do-dads..........and Kim/Susan adore those big splash flower prints.

Rarely do I see any thing of interest.

Several details that are immediate turnoffs for me:

Shark bite hems, cold shoulder, grommets, tops with a piece of metal or jewelry holding together the garment at the neckline

Gratuitous use of zippers - especially dislike zippers on chest pockets
