What about wrinkles in apparel received?

I just received a pair of Misook pants that was wrinkled so badly, I am not sure I can steam the wrinkles out but because I like to either wash or dry clean anything I order before I wear it, I will not complain, I will just send it out to be "cleaned."

I think we have to assume that everything comes with its own wrinkles.

If its washable I put it in the dryer for five or ten minutes with a damp white hand towel.  Take out and put on a hanger.  Usually the wrinkles are out then.

Yes, a lot of things come very wrinkled.

If you are washing it or sending them out to be dry cleaned before you wear it, I assume the shipping wrinkles will come out.

Yes, this shopping on line does create the wrinkles and that is a good idea about the damp towel and garment in the dryer.  Some things need to be dry cleaned to make them look crisp so I send those out.  It just depends, but not only does it take out the wrinkles, but I assume eliminates the chemiicals and any debugging that is needed.

Yes, if clothing is made in China there is a debugging chemical process and if someone else has tried it on, I rather prefer having it clean.  Some are not careful with their hygiene before trying on clothing.

Re: What about wrinkles in apparel received?

I'm not buying much clothing on line any more, especially since QVC has gone to delivery by USPO.  The postman takes whatever arrives and crams it into the back of the mailbox - then puts everything else in, pushing the package to the back and wrinkling things beyond wearability.

I've asked them to only send my things by UPS for years, and had very few problems, but this new idea of going USPO is ruining too many things.  I can't deal with that, plus it takes an extra three days to get to me. Once in a while I had wrinkles with UPS, but nothing like this!!  UGH!

I wash everything (or dry clean) before I wear it but not before I try it on.

i recently received two brand new linea jackets that were so wrinkled i thought it would take me forever to get those wrinkles out OR that i would take them to my dry cleaners for pressing. the dry cleaners were going to charge me $7.50 each. i called qvc and they gave me a total of $15 credit for two jackets so that the pressing was on them.

When I ordered clothes for work from Pendleton, they arrived in a special box, on a hanger and in a plastic bag.  I loved that.  I don't know if they still do that.
