I bought a pretty pair of light blue dress pants at Marshalls, I love them. I'm always looking for professional pants for work, and pants are a difficult fit for me in addition to the fact that they're usually too short unless they're talls.

They are full length dress pants, the fabric and the fit are both good. And they're actually long enough for me.

Other than the obvious choices of navy, white, or a print that includes light blue-what are some other colors you would try with them? When I take my Spring clothes out I'm going to check what I have. I have a navy Ralph Lauren blazer that should look good with them. 

I don't think it's the same as light blue jeans and pretty much anything going with those.

Would you wear black with light blue dress pants?

I might wear black with them, but I'd be more likely to wear chocolate brown.  I like that combo.

I love black so I probably would. Wear what you feel comfortable in.  I don't believe in rules.

I always liked a dark chocolately brown with light blue, although it is not easy to find that color.  Not crazy about the black personally.

I would wear pastel yellow or pink beyond the obvious white or cream. To me, yellow is almost a neutral & goes with just about anything. I would not wear black as I don't like really dark colors with light colors but if you like it go for it.

@Greeneyedlady21. Pretty color!!  I would probably wear cream or a pale yellow.  For me, the pants are the star.  But, whatever makes you happy is what to wear.

There are some beautiful blue printed flower blouses on hsn. I bought one on clearance but yesterday a new brand was shown and they were nice.

One was a blue and soft orange/coral and I think the other one had blue and navy flowers.

Throughout the winter months I have worn my pastel blue wool pants with an oversized cashmere light blue sweater. Also I have worn them with a pale blue silk blouse with a light colored belt giving a very monochromatic appearance. I would not wear black except maybe a black coat. My opinion, though, is subjective. The photo shown is lovely @Greeneyedlady21 . Enjoy!😊

I, personally, would look for a top in a light blue watercolor print....
