I am absolutely not a mall rat so I would have to take a pass on any store located within the confines of a mall.

While I enjoy boutique shopping, I think I would choose Anthropologie (but only my local store) because it is large (for a small store) and I appreciate the open fluid layout. The sales associates are all friendly and never appear harried or tired. Oh and my store also employs men. My husband actually enjoys browsing the kitchen/home goods and they have recently intalled a custom furniture department.

Here is their employee discount:

Every day: 40% on apparel, 25% on home, and no discount on sale items. Same discount at Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Terrain. They have special employee appreciation days where you and your immediate family and one other person (spouse, domestic partner, or bestie) can get 40% off anything and everything.

All that being said, rather than being an employee I would offer to volunteer my time ensuring I would be in control of my destiny. 😊
