Since I consign, it's to my advantage to get my things pressed and on hangers and get my things in the shop earliest since all shoppers come early in the season.
I keep a bag in the laundry room which catches the "Can't live with any longer" and donate. I usually make $100 a month for about 4-5 months until the next season.
I'll also look at my sticky notes from my calendar where I wrote down "needs".
I will definately be looking for gray leopard print and I have a Guess burgandy all weather coat being held at Wilson Leather. It will automatically match everything because it's one of my reds.

Even though winter is my favorite season, I can't bear to think of it right now. Summer is at its peak right now and I'm enjoying it very much. Daily sunset swims are the best!!! When I do think of winter clothes, now that I'm not working anymore, I'm so thrilled because I don't have to worry about my wardrobe. Jeans, cashmere turtlenecks, boots, and I'm good to go! My go-to option is skinny jeans with longer tunic tops and a scarf tucked into the neckline for color. The fun for me is always changing out my bag so I have so many that I don't even have to buy any of those. I can't use all that I have and have sold many on eBay. Even my trusty Hermes satchel went to an online seller because, while it worked for my suited-up corporate style, it just didn't fit my current easygoing look anymore. It takes a killer bag for me to be tempted purchase it anymore.

I'm not likely to be shopping for fall clothes until late October. It'll be way too hot here to think about it before then. And a lot of my wardrobe is suitable for year round wear here.
I'm currently thinking about summer sandals and beach pants... Those are at the top of my list right now.
I consign, too, and won't be able to take my fall discards until the weather starts to cool down. They won't accept them. You have to have a lot more clothes than I do to be able to make that much money off your discards! Admittedly, my wardrobe isn't all that big.
Oh! I did happen to find a pair of black suede ankle boots a few weeks ago at an outlet. Multiple discounts made them irresistable!
But I really haven't given a thought to what I'll be looking for when the weather cools off...

I must confess, I hope I get to visist relatives up north this fall/winter. I would love an excuse to buy some sweaters I would not wear down here.

Nothing. I wear the same clothes all year round. LOL!!! Seriously. I'm always hot so I don't wear long sleeve shirts. I don't wear shirts with collars or anything around my neck because it drives me crazy. I also hate shopping for clothes so as long as the old clothes I have are still wearable I will be wearing them. LOL!!!

@willdob3,I'd love to see those pretty boots! Congradulations on your find!
We live in an area with four equal seasons. My wardrobe has to go through the entire season and I can be dressing in spring trying to keep from freezing. It's not all that unusual to have snow on Easter if it's early.

Nothing, I have enough light weight winter items to get me through our mild winters

Nylon coats are supposed to be in this year, and I need a new one as my old one is too big. So that's number one on my list. Mine is nylon trench coat.

I need absolutely nothing! But I am still looking forward to the new Fall clothes. In fact, I have already bought the Denim & Co Paisley pants in Olive and the Rose Brown and the floral ones in taupe and in green. So maybe I can say I'm hunting for a top that will go well with the Rose Brown. They are fall season pants and I'm ready to wear them, but I guess I can wait til Fall! Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons for clothes. I also consign and donate, picked up $94 this month from consigning and donated two trash bags full. Our store will start taking Fall clothes for consignment in August, but I have to get next season items from storage and store my summer so that is definitely too early so I won't be consigning again til late September. Tired of looking at summer clothese, really ready for new Fall.
