Back in 1971 (telling my age) I had a pair of flatforms with roller skates, like these shown. Mine had a taller flatform. Was trying to find another picture but I wanted you to see the bottom. Wish I had kept mine.

I found a pair like I had. I worked at Southwestern Bell in accounting. I had to run lots of errands on our floor. I would pop my skates and off I went.

They still are platform shoes.  I don't see any difference.

They are about as attractive Birkinstocks so I think I will pass on both.

@makenaMost of the time on a platform, the toe area is lower than the heel.

Wooden roller skates.  Never had a pair but wanted a pair!
