Re: What Do You Expect From QVC Clothing?

[ Edited ]

I might be a little easier sell then others when it comes to QVC fashions. I do not expect to find bargain basement pricing here. I gladly will pay more to have the convenience of not having to go in store to shop. In fact, I don't go into any store to shop for clothes any longer with the exception of Walmart. While in there shopping for groceries I pickup some inexpensive tops and bottoms to slouch wear around the house. And actually some of them are darn nice pieces!

What I most expect from QVC is to have accurate measurements on their click here size chart for each individual garment. They are invaluable to me. If those are correct then I usually don't have any trouble with an item fitting. Also, I am plus size so appreciate always having larger sizes available here...I wear a 1X. In the past I've purchased mostly LOGO, Belle, Joan Rivers, Denim and Co. and a few Tolani's.

For the prices we pay, I expect quality items, styles other than big prints made of polyester.

I expect QVC to be competitive with brands from Macy's, Blair et al in offering wearable styles, good prices, sales and free shipping.  QVC currently fails in all those.

For example, a $60 SG top the equivalent of which is easily available elsewhere for half the price.

Quality, style and nice fabrics.... not plastic,

Decent price... can go to so many other stores for better pricing.

More updated color choices, and better prices. Anyone remember they used to say, " they buy in bulk, they can give us a better deal." Not the case anymore, I have found better prices when i google the item elsewhere. Maybe thats why they like to sell their own lines now.

I am retired and 77 yrs old, for me personally,  I would like more choices in tee shirts both long sleeved, elbow length and tunic length .  More of flexibelle jeans in straight and flare leg.  I would like nice winter weight flannel shirts and more sweatshirts with true crew neck or turtle neck.

I dont need dressy clothes anymore and I dont wear dresses.

No matter where I purchase my clothes, I expect them to be fashionable (to me), fit well, and long lasting.

I have shopped at QVC through the years along with other retailers.  I've been happy with most of my purchases and I rarely return.  I prefer to purchase items when they're on sale, but if it's something I really want, I will purchase immediately.

I have to admit, I usually don't have problems with sizing from different retailers.  For pants, as long as they're long enough, I'm good with the fit.

@Sooner   My needs are the same as yours.  It's a casual world that I live in but I still want to look nice....casually.  I'm picky about colors and fit.  That's all part of looking good and pulled together.

At my age I unfondly remember wearing dresses or skirts daily for school.  I dislike them to this day.  I own a few, usually purchased impulsively with every intention of wearing, but don't.  I too lead a simple lifestyle, casual and comfortable.  My priority now is comfort and durability.  I don't mind spending more for an item as long as it lasts well.  QVC has some lines of clothing that are are well made.  I find that I'm not into "athleisure" clothing though.  I always feel like I'm still in my pajamas all day.  😆

@Kardi I feel the same way....once my high school let the girls wear pants in the fall of 1968 (I was in the 9th grade) there was no looking back for me!

The only dress that I currently have in my closet is the gown that I wore to DD's wedding in May.  All other skirts or dresses have been cleaned out & donated.
