I've worn QVC clothing for years and have always been very happy with it. The casual styles offered perfectly fit my retired lifestyle. I can't walk enough to browse in stores anymore so it's been a God-send. I'll gladly pay s&h just to be able to choose some attractive clothes.
However, the past few years, there has been a noticeable decrease in the quality of the construction of the garments as well as noticeably thinner, cheaper fabric. It's hard to find anything other than poly fleece that's warm enough for winter wear. What happened to fleece lined sweat shirts? Now everything is thin, unlined French terry, unsuitable for summer or winter, in sweatshirt STYLE.
I put my new purchases side-by-side with some of my older pieces and there's no comparison, like night and day. I'll hang on to the old stuff.

1. Consistent sizing, to minimize returns.
2. Well-made garments, not disposable clothing.
3. Competitive pricing, or why bother?
4. Wide variety of choices in terms of designers, types of clothing, and fabrics.
Is this asking too much? For a very large corporation, I would hope not.

I don't "expect" anything.
Most of the clothes they sell are not the sort of things I wear and wouldn't fit in with my lifestyle or my personal style.
QVC isn't the only place to shop.

ETA:
I don't have one particular place where I shop - I buy "my style" and "my color" pieces wherever I find them. But lately .... it's been Amazon.

@Kachina624 I agree with everything you said. Things I used to buy from QVC (lots of things!) now come from. LL Bean. Nice, lovely casual clothes at good prices! No more Isaac t-shirt dresses, Denim Co. pants, Hochman night gowns, etc. Things I used to count on.

The quality at LLBean is legendary. They really live up to their promise.

I expect to see different styles every year or two........
not the same old same old styles for 3 years or so
Quality...for the money pricepoint charged
Variety...........if one fashion trend is in...fine do some of those styles....but remember others may prefer a different
style instead...........so not to be bombarded with a recent trend on a large percentage of all their fashion lines
I don't expect to order the item and then find in my orders
summary that it is backordered when i called in and ordered it while there was a large supply noted and available
Each designer group should have its own uniqueness
while still providing clothing appealing to all customers

I expect great quality at a great price. In my mind if you are selling twenty thousand of something you can offer better prices than what they do.
Who else is selling that amount of an item in an hour or a day?

I do not expect too much, really. Because I do not want to be dressed in huge cabbage roses, no matter what the color! I do not want boxy shapes.... I could go on! I've only ever gotten a few clothing things over the years, anyway.
I would like more classic, feminine styling; however, I really do not need anything, just to replace older things. Besides, there are other retailers where you acquire all the information you need to see if it's what you're looking for.
