I've never liked them but I have some solid colored sweaters so I broke down last year and bought 3 infinity scarves to dress them up a bit.  I wore one today and felt silly.  They are just too fussy for me and I feel all 'bulked' up with one on.   I'm undecided if I'll wear them again or not.

I think a scarf is more attractive on someone with a long neck.

Very true, @151949. Also, having a longer neck makes a scarf more comfortable to wear because it's not so much "in your face" (literally)! All the people I know who say they don't like to wear scarves because they feel "claustrophobic" in them coincidentally have short necks.

I've never been a scarf person. I have tried wearing a few different ways, but they just look out of place on me. I also don't like extra material around my neck. I guess they're just not my style. I think the right scarf worn the right way is a very chic look on others.
