I don't like anything about the one on the left; I feel like the person would be constantly fussing with that coat and handbag.  The top is way too short for me and the necklace would just get in the way.  (Oh and I wouldn't wear white either.)

 

I really like the one on the right and would wear it, minus the huge handbag (unless I was traveling and that was my overnight case).

The one on the right says soccer mom. Her daughter made the necklace in Art n Crafts For Kiddies.

I would go with the style to the right.  I'm too messy to wear all cream and have never been one to drape a coat over my shoulders.  Although, I do like the coat.
