Sheesh, please no judging, these forums are dangerous. I didn't think a small purchase with Birthday money would be put through so many times that $826.00 would be taken from my account. I don't have credit cards as to not drive them up and go into debt. I don't have children and am not married so you don't have to worry about my children going without because I bought something on QVC. Someone from corporate got back to me and confirmed this was a computer glitch. 15x taken from my bank acct and 6 declines of the same amount. So the system just kept going and going. Corporate is working with my bank to resolve this matter. Thank God someone came into work today there. I'm sorry if I'm getting snippy now but The point of my post was to warn everyone that if the website says unavailable at this time use automated ordering when you try to place your order just check your account to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to you. Instead I have been judged by some. Forgive me for being a bit aggravated but I've been through enough already.

Yep, whacked again. And even though the boards are back, they don't seem to be working at full throttle... I note the emoticons in some posts are showing up as words and not as pictures...

...and they also seem really slow at times.

Julie, I am NOT judging--you put this mess out there for exposure and comment and I was trying to give you some much needed advice---sorry for trying to help you....why would you even bother to post this about your not being able to buy food or gas---it's more than a little puzzling...I'll just put you on IGNORE now and please do the same for me....not worth it....good luck to you.

Right now I'm unable to do anything as corporate is closed due to inclement weather. I called there this morning. The girl I went to see at the bank yesterday said she has never seen anything like this and the transactions were all seconds apart. She sent an email to the branch manager asking them to overturn any overdraft charges but if it does not happen I will contact corporate for the bank as well. Being a Sunday their corporate office wasn't open either. There is nothing I can do at the moment so I have to just sit on it and wait. I wish I had a credit card instead of a debit but this whole thing is making me think I need to take a break from these home shopping shows for a while.

your bank is having open hours on sundays?

If you can't cancel or edit an order on line, do it through the automated system. I would never use a debit card.

I'm feeling pretty defeated right now. My bank says I need a written letter from QVC corporate stating these holds are not valid in order for them to release them. In the mean time $35.00 overdraft fees are being applied to everything that comes thru. They are going to see if they can get those overturned but I believe they can only over turn one a year Smiley Sad

Julie, sorry you are having this problem. I would call customer service, they have been very helpful to me lately, I hope you can get someone on the phone that can help you get your problem resolved. It all depends on who you get to talk to, I have learned.

Thank you for letting us know about this, it may help someone else. I hope things work out for you. It's always frustrating when there is a technical glitch and you don't know what to do. Good luck.
