What's the rule of white before Memorial Day?  Is it ok to wear white pants if the weather is hot before MD or does that look strange?

There is no fashion rule to wearing white anymore. I  wear white all year round. Off white in the winter and white in the summer. As soon as it gets hot I bring out the white shorts. Enjoy your white pants O/P your going to look great!

There is no rule.  Urban Myth, as far as I was ever concerned.  [smile] I wear white all year long -- it's more about the fabric than the color.  I have white pants that are more of a cold weather fabric that I wear in the fall and winter that I love.  I pair it with a black jacket.  Now, I've already started wearing my white jeans, and soon my white linen pants.  It'll be 82 degrees in the Mid-Atlantic today.

This topic seems to op up every year. Rule #1= no more rules? I wore white pants yesterday. DH even wore a pair of off white pants.
