Water-Resistant Classic Trench Coat

Water-Resistant Classic Trench Coat

Water-Resistant Classic Trench Coat

Regular and petites, also in black, at Banana Republic.

I think the "summer lilac" color is very pretty for spring.

I agree, I think the lilac color is very pretty for Spring.  Can't go wrong with a classically styled trench coat.

Lilac is a pretty color IF all of your clothes are neutral, otherwise, you need a closet full of raincoats!

I already have two in the classic tan..one has a zip out liner, but I really like that Lilac trench.  I don't need it, but I really like it.

Can't beat a classic trench coat for versatility!   Love this one, especially the lilac (is there an echo in here?)

I love the lilac.

I am afraid to buy raincoats and umbrellas. In California it seems to jinx us.

Please send rain.

Pretty coats, but water "resistant" just won't do it for me.   Fine if you just walk from house to car, or car to office, etc.  But when you have to walk several blocks in the pouring rain ... you ned water proof!

All my raincoaats are water proof.

I don't like the shortened version of the classic trench.  I hadn't owned a trench coat for decades but last month I bought a grey London Fog with zip out liner.  It's beautiful and technically used (looks new) and I bought it on the Bay for $60.

Cute!  While I like the Lilac, I'd still probably go for the neutral.
