Watching the Old Love Boat Shows

The fashions were really quite beautiful.

Some of the dresses they wore to the dinners could be worn today. Both cruise directors always looked great!

I enjoy watching the old sit coms, the fashions and cars are fun to see.  I know in some ways society has changed for the better but things have also changed for the worse in some ways.

Old shows like The Love Boat are light entertainment and I need that at times.  It may be silly or out dated but  it makes me feel good  and that is a what I like about it.

I'll have to look for it on some of my channels.  I just watched a few episodes of the original 21 Jump Street last week.  Made me laugh.

@luvmyteddy4 It's wonderful to see how they dressed isn't it.  Watching an episode recently I noticed the lavish food displays, the quality of the costumes, The Love Boat must have had a very high budget.

Aaron Spelling really knew how to create glamour, very lavish.

I've been watching the original Dynasty and boy, those shoulder pads. Alexis and Krystal were always dressed to the nines.

Re: Watching the Old Love Boat Shows

Those Love Boat Shows were wonderful! I had to laugh when they showed the staterooms though, they were not even close to the factual cabin on a ship! But Aaron Spelling should be creditted as the founding father of modern day cruise vacations!
