Washing WK Sweaters in Machine?

I am new to WK and I just love them. I have been hand washing and laying flat to dry and they come out beautifully. But, I was wondering if anyone has put them in the washing machine in a lingerie bag on a gentle cycle and then lay flat to dry and if it works?! TIA!
