You sure have to check fabrics of the garments. I purchased a coat by Martha Stewart but "AS IS" because the price was $50 lower and only worth a $100. It's not wool but has a look of wool. It's the navy blue bib coat. I love the coat but would never pay over $100.
Some of the designers think they can charge anything since prices have gone up but they are sadly mistaken. Today women definitely compare shop and if they don't, it's their loss.

It's like the "cashmere" sweaters that are offered from some lines and they are a minimal amount of cashmere and some reconstituted cashmere at that.
That coat is now $186.00. I think it is super cute but it does look more like a sweater topper. It looks very Burberry.

Very cute, but too pricey. Here in the Midwest we would not be able to wear for very long, as it is already too cold for it...So I would never spend that kind of money for a coat to wear for one month......
