Goldenlocks, I guess we're paying for all of Gary's "IDEA" trips to Europe so he can make us look good!!!

He and Susan Graver always mention that they take these trips for inspiraton.

Someone has to do it!!!!!  Just wish I didn't have to pay for them in the end.

Can you imagine Gary's expense account!!

I don't know if it is Gary's influence or not , but I don' care much for D&C 's newer things. I used to always see things that I liked, now not so much.

Sanita clogs (fabulously comfortable and amazingly durable) on my feet and an Android watch on my wrist. (just noticed the Chuck sapphire stack ring on my finger)

Usually don't listen that often and just check out online.  Makes sense, these designers get nice European vacations to enable them to provide us with a motley of "haute couture" designs and we pay!  It used to be France/Italy were about five years ahead of us on design.  I'd prefer to skip the "extraordinary" designer fashions, prefer good old basics at basic prices and forego funding someone's vacations!

Guess the B&M stores must have missed the boat - or,  the planeWoman LOL!

@tends2dogs Re your sig... yes, I've thought a great deal about it.  In fact, I have a sig in email that says, "Eternity: your choice!  Smoking or non smoking."  Jesus Christ saved my soul, so my eternity is secured in Heaven with Him.

@spent2much  Non smoking here, too.  Blessed assurance, the best gift I have ever received.  Smiley Happy

Oh I SO agree. I use to buy lots of D&C but since he took over (and added pockets to every darn article of clothing) my buying has come to a halt. I carry a nice purse so I do NOT need pockets everywhere and on every single item. Please stop it.

the prices are high; but don't forget that the quality rivals 'couture' and 'boutique' garments!

It sure does!  I bought multiples of two crochet tops several months ago.  Because they're open work, I needed to buy tees to wear with them.  Denim & Co matches their colors so well, don't they?  I knew they'd shrink so I went up a size.  Well, the snow melted and I was so happy to have matching tops, no need to wonder what to wear.  Except they had to be washed.  Every one of them faded and lost their shape and now look like Goodwill rejects.  Of course, it's too late to return anything.

I don't want to think of the amount of money I'm throwing in the trash or the fact that the pretty crochet tops, which withstood washing failry well, now have no coordinating pieces.  I can only be grateful that I only purchased two pair of matching pants from the Q.  Thank goodness my closet is filled to overflowing with every style and color of jeans Diane Gilman makes.   (DG2 has sold 8,000,000 pairs of jeans for a reason)  I remember Sport Savy.  I don't remember having to refrain from making a purchase because of shrinkage and pilling and fading.  (Made me reconsider SG.  Hope she brings Butterknit and SGSport back soon.)

Quality?

I think they are using too much spandex in some of the clothing......

.I recently purchased A237204 and they are very nice to wear with jeans....I would recommend this top....

@CoG

I really miss Sport Savy and another Q-line Jessica "something"  - one was casual while the other more office-oriented:  both were good, fair values, consistent sizing and held up through normal use and cleaning...Oh, the good old days on the Q!Woman LOL

Yes, you could put a 1, 2 or THREE in front of any of the prices for the same thing you'd find at retail!!!
