Hi fashion friends.

I'm soooo done with winter. I have 14 sweaters (3 or 4 of which work for transition), 1 vest, 3 jackets, 1 pair of boots and a few scarves and gloves. This is more than I need for our winters. Due to warm temps this year, I had to force myself to wear everything at least once. For the last two months, I've mostly been wearing cool weather transitional pieces adjusted for winter with base layers. I could store my winter wardrobe tomorrow and be fine. Bye bye winter!

#1 A spin off from last week...this is about as dressed up as I could make the Rag & Bone cotton sweatpants with printed jeans design. I have too many other outfit options, though, to need to dress these up.  For example, looking at this pic, I could easily switch the R&Bs for jeans.  For all intents and purposes, the sweatpants were bought to wear at home with tees, casual pullovers, and a sports bra.

*Old Joseph A. lightweight t-neck. *R&B pants. *Thrifted Roberta Piero handbag. *Old Aquatalia loafers.

#2

*Thrifted Lauren by RL chocolate brown floral blouse with stand collar and pintucking. Oddly enough, it's light and airy...almost sheer...even though it's 100% wool. It's out of my norm, but beautiful, although I worry some might see their Granny's couch haha! *AG Harper midtone. *Indigo Rd. suede cowgirl boots. *American Leather Co. handbag.

#3 A note on winter edits. Sadly, one of these sweaters had to go, so goodbye to the Talbot's fair isle. Hopefully, I can cram the teal sweater into my storage bag, otherwise bye bye to that one, too. I'm in that kind of mood! Not that I expect you to remember, but the striped Vince Camuto sweater is gone, too. I'm kind of proud that I only had two winter edits.

#4   Wearing this jacket with black would be a no brainer, but I'm not a fan of red and black, so I tried for a Parisian look.   It was a windy day and my raspberry beret that I found in a second-hand store blew away haha jk.

*Thrifted Alexandra Bartlett lightweight 100% wool jacket $3.50.  My girlfriend thinks it's either felted wool or wool felt...I'm clueless and just liked the jacket.  *Thrifted LLBean black/white striped t-neck.  *AG Harper indigo.  *Blondo boots.  *Sak handbag.

Have a great week, ladies.

(Note:  I decided not to post pics of the price tag on thrifted items any longer for the sake of brevity, a word I evidently don't know the meaning of haha.  If you want me to prove a price, let me know...I take pics of most of them.  I average about $5 per thrift...if something is a fantastically low price or much higher than $5, I'll mention it.  I'll also limit the number of close-ups, unless someone wants to see something close-up...happy to oblige.)

The red jacket and the brown RL are my two favorites this week.

Good for you to edit down at end of season. I need to think about some of my winter jackets/coats. I have plenty of room in closet, it's just I didn't wear most of them the past 2 years. But I am a boot and coat addict and it's hard to let go.

Thanks for sharing your finds.

@MacDuFF  I have 3 beautiul new sweaters that I bought last year on sale waiting for this winter to wear and so far have not had a chance to wear because it has been too warm for the type of sweaters. I  am about to pack them away for next year. I am ready for my summer maxi dresses/skirts with sandals/flip flops and sand in my toes at the beach.

I always enjoy looking at your style.

@MacDuFF

Good (early) morning. The birds aren't even up yet and here I am perusing the fashion forums.
Your first outfit is very nice. The silver jewelry adds sparkle and the pink shoes add a pop of color. Nice choice. I remember that Roberta Piero handbag from previous posts! It's beautiful and ties in nicely with your shoes.

I think the red jacket over the striped turtle neck top looks great. It' a good combination of color and pattern.

Have a great day ☀️

@MacDuFF   I'd love to rid of winter and really heavy clothes just about now too. February winding down to another almost gone, March here is still well, winter. April is alway iffy, heck, we could actually see flakes a-flying for a NY minute!!!!  That would be dreadful but yes it has happened in yeawrs gone by!

You must have some fab thrift shops around where you live, you find great labels, on great items for great prices!!!! Your runway shows here are always very stylish and fun!  It would be fun to go thrifting with you. Who says you have to spend a million to look like a MILLION BUCKS!!!!!!

@MacDuFF

I stopped cold when I read " raspberry beret in a second hand store ".  The first time I heard that song by Jason Mraz was in Amelia Island as I was working my way through an upscale consignment store.

It was so catchy that I actually stopped to listen to it.  Now if I am anywhere and music is in the background, I can pick out that song after a few 🎶 !!!

BTW, the red jacket with striped under top is A+++

I like the RL floral blouse. He has some of the best designs.

I'm done with winter too but not done with us.  I'm anxious to start wearing less heavy.

I have gotten rid of a few items and shopping my closet more.  I have some nice items and the prices for clothes on the Q are really rising.  I have been shopping locally but I am also shopping less.

 Nice pics.  Fun to put together outfits.

I would have a problem getting rid of these beautiful items.  Of course I have a problem getting rid of stuff from Walmart.  Can't wait to see your spring wardrobe.
