@MacDuFF : OH NO!! re: passing up the $4.00 Orvis cashmere sweater. I truly feel your pain. I know you will not make that mistake ever again.

 

Like you,I have been a cashmere sweater lover for many years. Once I bought a men's XXL cashmere pullover with an argyle print on clearance at Marshall's (pre-thrifting days). Oh how my sons hated that thing, LOL! But it was so warm and cozy. I only wore it in the house or if i was not going to remove my coat .

 

I wash my cashmere sweaters on cold/ gentle and lay flat to dry. I used to wash them with Wen because I hated it for my hair as well as my plumbing (clogs!) until I used it up. The sweaters came out so soft and great smelling.

 

You- a snob? Perish the very thought! Quite the opposite, my friend.
