over tunic length tops ?  I'm talkin' Chicago winters. Puffer coats, well, they make me look "puffy". DB's TSV looks like it adds 50 pounds to all the models. 

I am short/petite - any suggestions?

We don't get Chicago winter, but we do get below 0 ( not 32) on occasion and it does snow. If it's cold enough I wear my ankle length wool coat.

A regular length coat would hit me at ankle length.  Thanks for the suggestion.

I have a bunch of them.  I usually buy one or two each year. 

All different sizes, styles and colors .... depends on weather and where I'm going which one I wear.  (I buy two sizes ... the larger size gives me room to wear a sweater or jacket under the coat.)

My everyday coat is from Espirit.  I got it at Younkers.  It's similar to Susan Gravers thanksgiving TSV, but no faux fur.  I'm in WI.  I need a hood.

When it gets really chilly down here, this is my favorite coat.

Back in snowy central NY, I'd put on a pair of OTK boots, long gloves and I'd be good to trudge through the storm.

I buy most of my coats at Lands End since they have petite sizes in most styles.

I have an elegant tweed maxi-coat by Hal Rubenstein. I like to be covered up when it's cold.
