Tell me about SS Organics - where do I find them?
Shop NBC has them but she also has a website. Her shampoo and conditioner are the best I've ever used. My hair does not grow much but has really sprouted after using this. The shampoo does not have nitrates, it does foam up.

I use WEN and think my hair looks its best with it, but have to say that I am not a fan of Chaz. But, the reason I'm not a fan is part of why I think this way. I find Chaz to be a bit controlling - read how angry he was about one of his models moving on to do a national commercial for another brand, for example. There was also an incident when the blonde Maria was on the Q for another hair product (not shampoo), and there was a to do. So, I do think they use WEN, but that their hair is also styled more and glossing serums and such used to achieve the look for the shows.
Besides - what models are you talking about? (All of a sudden I can't remember names!) Both blonde Maria and Kate have rather thin hair, and I don't think it looks much different - maybe Kate sometimes has a wave for WEN. I think Katia's hair is always different, so I don't even really know what is real or not. The model with the long hair who does the beauty shows for Bare Minerals and Laura Geller - what is her name!! - usually has her hair back or not styled much since she is selling the makeup. I don't know what other regular Q models are also WEN models - many just come for the show.
That's Joy. She was primarily the one I was thinking about - that her hair never looks as good apart from the WEN shows. But Kerri, Kate, (I don't see Maria that much), Mary (whose hair color is dark), and even though Lisa R. is not a WEN model, their hair always looks tired & stringy apart from the WEN shows.
Re: Katia, I think she wears wigs a lot, so it's hard to comment on her hair.
(I hardly ever see Lisa's hair looking really nice. I'm not sure how she is a good spokesperson for the product.)

My hair never looks the same as it does when I walk out of the salon either after having a professional do it.

Sorry to be so dense but who is "she?" Could not find a website for SS Organics nor could I find Shop NBC. Did a search for Shop NBC and Shop HQ came up - no SS Organics there tho.
I found it! Suzanne Somers - Shop HQ. Thanks.

Isn't SS Organics Suzanne Somers product line?

This. No mystery here. Chaz and his team do their styling when they are in town and when they aren't in town, someone else does it. He likes it done a certain way to show off his product. The other stylists are more concerned with other thing, like showing off makeup, jewelry, or clothing and don't want big hair to distract from those things.
In terms of the appearance of the models, it's the styling that makes the biggest difference, not the hair product. I've used WEN for years and my hair has never once looked like those models because I've never styled it so that it would. Ain't nobody got time for that.

It is quite obvious WEN users do not read all the complaints that are on this board -- hair loss and drains clogged so bad they had to get plumbers. And it just wasn't one person!
I don't understand how a cream conditioner can actually cleanse your hair! I don't buy it and I would never use the product, even if you gave it to me for free. To me there are plenty of good hair products right in your own drug stores and even in Walmart and KMart! No need to spend a fortune on this stuff. They even have hair masks if your hair is damaged.
Do you ever notice that when the models are on display, their hair looks so flat that he is pushing the hair towards the screen?
Yes, I personally feel that the models do not use the product at home -- and they are smart!

He did say that he put their hair up in pin curls before styling.

Find that interesting. Wonder if they truly use WEN exclusively. Everyone's hair can look fantastic when a professional is styling it for you. Can't believe how much money Chaz is making off of this stuff. I already have great hair so no need for WEN but can't imagine using this conditioner to cleanse. Seems like such a process just to get your hair clean. Lots of people seem to fall for it though so whatever makes you happy.
What's with Chaz's see through shirt working with Alberti on the 2am show?!? Lol.
There is nothing to fall for - WEN is genuinely great when you find the right formula. I used it for over a year and it was by far the best my hair ever looked but then I found SS organics hair products that are much simpler to use and I find her products not only purer but better. I didn't fall for anything - just was fed up with my hair being straw dry and unmanageable most days. I tried product after product with no results that were good - until I tried WEN.
While I do agree with the first part of your post about the WEN model's hair and it's fantastic that you think you have great hair and are not in search of something that works please realize that it works for so many so why the need for the slam against those that use and like it? Use what works for you and let others use what works for them without being nasty about it.
Who's being nasty?
What the OP said about people ""falling for it"" is nasty -- implying that anyone who uses Wen fell for a sales ploy.
