I'm sure all those who complain that QVC is not fashionly fabulous for them will look lovely in the QVC versions headed out to buy groceries.

This is just couture photography.

For us mortals, I see big shoulders and ruffles. Ruffles for fall seem unusual.

I expect to be passing on these trends.

I did not like the big shoulders in the late 1980s and 1990s, but I was new to the workforce then, and had to buy what was offered. I was always switching pads out of garments for smaller ones. Some pad was needed for the garment to hold the shape.

I used to wear ruffles, but stopped at middle age. Not judging those who like them at any age, they can be pretty.

So the good thing about the 2020s - I can pass on trends!. I like soft clothing that is close to the body, and that is what I will wear.

I can't imagine what goes on in the mind of so called designers that could make them come up with this rediculousness or in the mind of someone who would wear them. Their creative "genius" is out of whack.

This nonsense is just conceptual, editorial peices. Not to be worn on a mass market scale. Vogue knows this and now you do too. Yes, it is pure ugliness.

The jacket in the first picture without the exaggerated buttons was very popular in the mid to late 1950s BK (before Kennedy) and the pleated skirt (box pleats) was worn with it and was a very striking outfit but these styles are very exaggerated. I don't know whose husband will be wearing any of these outfits shown here, perhaps Don Lemon's husband.
