For years, I have heard that items are  ALMOST LIKE ....... NOTHING is every LIKE anything. It is always ALMOST LIKE. Why not just let it be itself and not use some trite redundant wannabe phrase?

"This is item is under $50"...when the cost is $49.99. Techincally, they aren't wrong as the price is under $50. But tax and shipping make it much more.

No more "this celebrity swears by this item" or it is on someone's "favorite list". Celebrity references are an instant channel changer for me.
