Precisely the reason I stopped watching years ago...and only shop online. “cotton-span” lazy-English finally made me permanently hit the mute button. Fri-yay didn’t help either!

This is almost the same as previous forums on this very subject...there are just new words to add to the very long list. Fri-yay. Where the heck did that come from? It does not good to complain....they will still take viewers on “ tours” of handbags, etc.....😬

Along with curvation and fabrication which a few others have listed, I will add "elastication." Adding "ation" to the ends of words is starting to sound pretentious and overdone.

Elastication (elasticated) is a real word used in British English. They don't say something has an elasticized waistband, for example; they say elasticated. (Here's an actual description from QVC UK for a pair of IM pants: "These ankle-length trousers by Isaac Mizrahi Live feature a curved hemline and an elasticated waistline.") I think I've mostly heard Isaac's rep (whose name is escaping me at the moment, but who is British) use that term.
