Viola Dress- Channeling Marilyn Monroe

A plainer version of her famous pleated dress, by Hobbs London.  The back is kind of plain, IMO, but this is not a color that I can wear anyway so it's not a dress that I would consider.

Cute and cool looking for summer, but like you, I would want it in another color.

Beautiful style.  This dress and color would be nice for a second wedding.

@lolakimono Very pretty but very dressy.  Need to have somewhere pretty specific to wear it.

Pretty but I much prefer Marilyn's halter style top and her shoes!!!

To me this dress looks so ho hum on the model.  It's a perfectly nice dress but when comparing it to Marilyn's - well I don't think there is a comparison.  Maybe done in a brighter color would give it some ooomph.  Thumbs down from me.  Woman Embarassed

'The Seven Year Itch' was a fantastic movie.  I wish TCM would run that as often as they run 'Some Like it Hot'.  Marilyn at her most glorious imo.  She sure had that neighbor fellow in a tizzy!!

Love Marilyn -- love the dress -- love the pose!  And --- well--- no-one compares to Marilyn!

The Hobbs dress looks very blah -- and also looks blah and frumpy on the model.  Perhaps part of it is the way she is posing.  Also, the shoes, are very blah.
