That swimsuit does not flatter her at all. Many of us cannot wear a bikini and look our best. That would include me. I do have a couple of Lands End suits that are one piece and are very flattering to my shape.

I doubt that VS thinks she does either, but they have to be PC. I am all for plus sized models, but put them in something that doesn't make them look ridiculous or desperate. There could have been a better choice. This is unfortunate.
I've never had a problem with models being genetic freaks of nature, better looking than the rest of us! This new world where everybody gets a ribbon for showing up is getting out of hand

@Andreatoo @tends2dogs I know. Who wants to see a fatso looking like that. Certain people need to be kept in tent dresses or hidden. Sometimes it makes no sense to include others, pc or giving a trophy to everyone is ridiculous. They need to realize not everyone matters.

I totally agree with you.
I'm concerned about the negative impact on teenagers and young people, many of which need to learn to make healthy food choices and not snack all of the time.
Possible heart disease and diabeties can easily develop in this type of situation and cause massive problems if they are of child bearing age.
I think the Kardasians influence especially in this regard has been massive, which has been a giant negative for teens through 30's?
I'm not speaking in reference to adult women who deal with issues following menopause that deal with metabolism and body chemistry.

BRAVA!!
All shapes and sizes should be included!!!
However, I would think it would benefit every company to showcase models in the styles that flatter..........I do not mean tent dresses ~

Oh my, @proudlyfromNJ . I hope your response is tongue in cheek. Fatso? Kept in tent dresses? Hidden? Not everyone matters?
Everyone matters. This dividing into groups as to who matters MORE is what is ridiculous. And no, I don't believe that everyone should get a trophy for just showing up.

There are plenty of very healthy curvy women out there.......
Saying that, this suit isn't the most flattering.
But, if the wearer likes it and feels comfortable and beautiful in it, who's to judge.
Self esteem is very important. No matter how slim or curvy.
I'm sure that there are very flattering swimsuits out there for curvy women.
Heck, I'm slim-ish, and my self esteem isn't the best, and that's for sure.
I like to be 'covered up', for whatever reason. And, it doesn't make much sense, thinking about it.
Personally, there's much more 'wrong' with my own perception of myself.

I like to let others decide what looks good on them. It does not matter how they look to me.

There are men who think overweight women are much sexier than thin women. There are men, in some corners of the world, who think that very thin women appeal to men because they are lithe and thin like gay men. There was a time when women like Mona Lisa were very attractive to men. I am not making this up. I have actually done polling on this when in graduate school during the height of the "anything above a 2 is fat" at VS.
