I was surprised the mid/lower-calf dress was heavily featured.

I continually thought ‘1986ish’ when I saw this collection.  

Definiately teleported me back to those working days!

The clothes are beautiful and if you happen to be 6ft tall, 110 lbs. and wearing high heeled shoes, they look even more beautiful.  On an average body type not so much, but again, she is not designing for average women, she is designing for the glitterati who lead the lifestyle she has become accustomed to.

Funny, the checks/plaids in the beginning reminded me a lot of the 'Modern Plaid" thread the other day by the check plaid offered by Ann Taylor (a lot cheaper).  VB is always impeccably dressed but other than a handful of women across the globe who can afford this stuff, its just as well it doesn't knock me out.  Even made a few of the models look hefty.

VB has great taste as well as a great eye.

That said, Fall 2019, to ME, is a flashback to the 80's. Been there, done that, so nothing this season holds my interest via any design house.

Well I suppose the article I read about her diet this weekend maybe true.  Eating four avocados a day for her skin.  Needs to add bit more variety to her diet to focus better on the here and now.  I liked her fall line but not some of this one for spring, especially being for a new decade.
