When I think of Chic, (but classic) I immediately think of Whitney Houston's extreme femininity in the beautiful gowns she wore.  Poised and beautiful.  She tried to maintain for a little while with the drugs but it didn't work.  I don't know of any other person I would call chic....today!  I simply loved the way she was styled most of the time as well as her stage presence.  It all came together to lend an air of sophistication, despite the fact that she did so much drugs.
