I have flare or boot cut pants.  I like them.  I think they make me look a tad taller and slimmer.   Big fan of trouser jeans. 

I also like straight leg but  I need to always wear a longer top or a sweater over top because they are more close to the body.

For me it's boot cut and straight leg jeans.  Skinny jeans and leggings not flattering on me.

Fortunately there are so many options we can choose what we like.

I have all cuts of jeans in my wardrobe and I wear them all..  Variety is the spice of life.  I am bored with skinny jeans so except for 2 pairs that I will only wear with tall boots, I have retired them.  But just for the winter.

Agreed.  At 5'2", anything wider than a slight bootcut accentuates my short height and makes me look as wide as I am tall - not a look I aspire to!
