I did use brunette Maria who was, I think, a 1x, then lost weight and was a L, and now I don't know because she looks bigger recently. Then I used blonde Jacqui, who I think they say on the Q now wears L. The Reinhard agency has her on their "Plus" page, so who knows what that means. She looks much smaller than plus on their plus page of model photos.
If you wear a size XL in stores like Dillards and Nordstrom, and brands like Ruby Rd, Investments, Vince Camuto, Ralph Lauren, Chaus - what size do you wear on QVC?

I think you REALLY have to check the exact garment measurements using the "click here" feature on the item page. I don't know anyone built exactly like me, and that's just asking for trouble to buy based on how you perceive someone else looks. You need to honestly measure yourself and go from there.

Thanks. If you look at Jacqui's specs on her Reinhard page, I would be exactly her size, but who knows if that is what she is now.

In the industry, plus size refers to models size 10 and up.

Wow I didn't know that!

I can't imagine ever using a model as a fit guide, other than for getting an idea of where a hem might hit. I always check actual measurements.

I check the click here measurement guide for each garment that I am considering for purchase. I hate returns.

I asked Louis on is website which size Maria was wearing on a particular top. He said he brought a large and an xl for her but he wasn't sure which one the stylist put on her. So I'm pretty sure from paying attention to the times the hosts ask her what she's wearing and how items looked on her recently and how they fit me when I got them home, that she's in between sizes now. For the same reasons, Jacqui seems to be still wearing a l all the time on the Q. Back to Maria, she seems to have to gained her weight on the top because just a couple of days ago, she said she was wearing a 14 in pants.

WOW According to those specs (which are almost same as mine and I wear a M) Jacqui would be a perfect medium on QVC. The specs even say she's a 12 also a medium on QVC. I think that might be old specs because she always says she's wearing a QVC large and/or a 14.
