Update: Customer Service Says Post

Last night I had a surprise phone call from customer service. Very nice, professional rep. Said "they" read our posts. They had read mine regarding the mysterious order problem, and she was calling to apologize and fix it. She was able to find the order and put it into process, and cancel the duplicate. She said all orders placed are in the system, but just not showing up in "order status". She apologized again for the website and said they were working on all the our concerns as fast as possible. I , of course, thanked her very much, but added that there are a lot of MORE THAN UNHAPPY customers over here in Linealand. Between the wonky website, never having enough Linea to order - and - not getting what we do order shipped, is driving us crazy!!
