Remember my America Leather Co. jacket that I posted about in the thread somewhere down below entitled "Do you like this Color?"

Well, UPS and QVC claims it was delivered yesterday to my rear door.   Well, again ... it wasn't.  And no photo attached to the "Your Package was delivered," to back up that claim, either.  I was home all day expecting the delivery ... driver didn't stop here.

I've notified both UPS and the Q that it wasn't received, but I don't have any time to spend on it ... I'm leaving in a few hours to catch my train ... traveling South to my DS and DDIL.

What a disappointment!!  The Junebug color is sold out in my size ...

@SoX - That's rather worrying.  If they deliver it after you've left (been known to happen), is there someone who can pick it up and keep it safe for you?

Or can it be redirected to another address?

ETA:  It's like my post office delivery last week.  Said it had been delivered to my mailbox, but no sign of it.  And that's because they delivered it to my neighbor's mailbox!  Luckily, I got my package (honest neighbors).

Re: UPS .... Missed Delivery

Not an infrequent happening with UPS.  Sometimes you get it later, sometimes it has vanished off the face of the earth, sometimes someone along the way steals the package.

It really frosts me when it says delivery attempted, we were home all day and the doorbell camera backs me up on attempt was made.  UPS just disagrees and leaves it at that.

@SoX , I'm so sorry this happened.  Hopefully the package went to someone in the neighborhood that will take it to your house and they'll tuck it in a good spot where it'll be safe.  Hope you have a good trip.

Sorry to hear that @SoX but I'll tell you, I've had very iffy luck in recent months with UPS. They are not the honest, reliable company they used to be. When given an option, I prefer to opt for another carrier, but sadly, options aren't always available. I had a recent 'opportunity' to pick up a significantly delayed delivery at a local drop site. I declined and simply cancelled the order with the store from which they were supposed to be delivering. Inexcusably bad service.

Didn't realize UPS took pictures. I thought only Amazon did

Re: UPS .... Missed Delivery

Exact same thing happened to me with one of my Hsn orders. UPS had it shown as 'Delivered' with no picture of the package at my door. I was home all day and no UPS truck ever came by my house that day. So the next day I called Hsn and they gave me a refund. BUT THEN two days later USPS delivered it! The package was never shown as a USPS delivery anywhere. It just showed up at my house without notice.

I am so sorry that happened to you.  In my UPS deliveries they always take a picture.  File a claim with them, its easy to do on their webite.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family.

Re: UPS .... Missed Delivery

Sometimes UPS uses a service called Sure Post, where they hand off the package to the local post office for final delivery. When that happens, UPS may mark the item as “delivered” once it’s transferred, even though the USPS hasn’t brought it to your door yet.

That could explain why you saw “delivered” but didn’t receive it. Often the package shows up a day or two later once USPS completes the last leg.

@manny2

Actually, UPS does not use SurePost anymore.  Their contract with the USPS ended in 2024 and they have not renewed it.
