I normally run from anything velcro, but I really like these.  My issue is the width.  Generally if something is offered in wide I go for it as I am borderline wide.  However, when Earthies had the boot TSV last winter, and I ordered wide, they were too wide.  Any advice about these?  Since they are summer shoes and I want to be comfortable, I want to order the wide again.  Not sure if I should stick with medium.  However, the overall look of this shoe is more streamlined than the clunky boot, so perhaps it runs narrower.

That's what I think.  I need a medium and these look a bit more streamlined. 

I don't run from anything velcro.  If the shoe is matronly looking and has velcro, I won't buy.  There are a lot of nice shoes that are stylish that have velcro, and I have no problem with it.  I actually like some velcro.  They are easy to keep on my feet.  

A matronly shoe is matronly with or without velcro imo.

I think the Kristy looks nice.  I would consider it, but unfortunately can't wear anything which doesn't permit wearing socks anymore .

They are very cute so naturally I am tempted. I can wear this style almost all year round. I need to take a hard look at the shoes I already have. Too many taking up space that I'm not wearing.

p.s.  I'm not bothered by the Velcro somehow.
