Turtlenecks. And double chin

Would you wear turtlenecks if you had a double chin or turkey neck?  Mock neck better?

I think you have to look in the mirror and judge for yourself.

I have a little sagging ... and wear turtlenecks.  I like them tall and snug and they hide the sagging.

My sister has the same ... won't wear turtlenecks.

If you like turtlenecks wear them!   I happen to love them - I hate mock necks.

[ Edited ]

I used to wear turtlenecks quite often, years ago.

Now, I prefer mock necklines. Unless the turtleneck is very, very soft and/or silky.

'All in all', I guess we should look in the mirror and figure out what we like and how we feel wearing the item(s).

I like the look/style of both.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I stopped wearing turtlenecks, partly because they were too warm (after menopause), and I found they accentuated my turkey neck rather than cover it.

Hmm...collars that stand up higher in back than in front are really the best bet. Button front shirts with the collars standing up, or mandarin/stand collars with a center front slit, or v-neck shirts with a higher back neck, or crossover necks...these give you a flattering long neck without fitting closely right under the chin.

It seems to me a turtleneck would cover up what you didn't like  people to see?

I wear mocknecks ,because I am petite, and a turtleneck is a bit too long for me, and I fee like I am choking

I feel the mock necks and crew necks "frame" your neck and call attention to it.

Scarves work to camouflage and elongate.
